The SECRET to Weight Loss, Part 3

Wow, I was looking for another quote from General Patton, and came across this one.  How very true for many many many things in our lives.  It also holds very true for weight loss.

So, for the SECRET to work, we must decide that we are GOING TO DO IT.  Our body will respond to our actions and our changes, but we must always keep on track, or get back on track when we fall into a ditch, or take a side road.  Excuses are our mind’s way of allowing our body to take over.  Don’t fall for it.  Don’t rationalize it.  If it is already done, then get back on track.  We cannot change the past, we can only affect the future.  Don’t beat yourself up, either, as that is another way the body wins over the mind.
